Web design and web development are two terms that are used interchangeably far too often. While web design is concerned with the surface look and feel of the website, web development controls all of the site’s hidden display mechanisms and functionality. Web development employs scripting languages such as JavaScript as well as database platforms such as PHP and ASP.NET upon which websites are built.
