Problems with fixed-line telephone network
There is currently an issue affecting calls to and from landline telephone numbers in the Isle of Man. As a result the public may find themselves unable to reach Isle of Man Government telephone numbers.
Government has been in touch with Manx Telecom and is assured engineers are investigating the issue and working to resolve the matter as soon as possible.
The mobile network is not affected. 999 calls should be made from mobile phones until the issue is resolved.
