Enforcement of a new parking order for the Noble’s Hospital site will commence on Friday 6 December 2019.
The measure is required to ensure parking spaces are available in bays reserved for disabled patients and visitors, so valid parking permits should be displayed. Standard law enforcement will now apply in disabled parking areas which will be actively policed including checks that vehicles have valid tax discs.
The Order applies to all parking areas with the exception of those at Isle of Man Hospice and Manannan Court. The proposal to apply a Parking Order to Noble’s Hospital for the first time was advertised in October, and members of the public were invited to submit views. A notice to confirm the Order is in place will appear in the local press this week.
