Scam emails have been sent to a number of Manxnet email users:
Please be aware of the below scam email which has been sent to a number of Manxnet email addresses.
This scam, which purports to come from Manx Telecom, asks you to ‘Verify your email account’ by providing your username and password. Under no circumstances should you do this.
PLEASE REMEMBER, MANX TELECOM WILL NEVER SEND YOU AN EMAIL ASKING YOU TO CONFIRM ANY USERNAME AND PASSWORD.
Under no circumstances should you reply to any email, or follow a link contained in any email, which asks you to provide or confirm any username or password to prevent you from losing service or to upgrade an account.
