Export Control (Amendment)(No 2) Order 2019 (Application) Order 2019

The Treasury advises that the above Order has been made and comes into operation on 14 August 2019 and makes amendments to existing export control legislation in the Island.

The Order being applied amends the Export Control Order 2008, as it has effect in the Island, adding a new entry to Schedule 3 for submersible vessels and related goods, software and technology which require an export licence.

This new control is being introduced to mitigate the national security risk to the United Kingdom presented by the uncontrolled export of submersible vessels and related equipment to Russia.
