Consultation on Border Security (Information Sharing) Bill extended
A public consultation has been extended on a short Bill that would enable the Island’s existing enforcement agencies and public bodies to share information to assist the prevention of unlawful movement of people and goods into and out of the Island.
The Bill would provide a statutory basis for existing enforcement agencies and public bodies to share data.
The public consultation runs until Thursday 17 February 2022.
