Update on nurseries, playgroups and childminders

On Tuesday, the Chief Minister ordered the closure of nurseries, playgroups and childminders for most children on the Isle of Man effective from 23.59 on Wednesday.

The Government has asked parents to keep their children at home wherever possible, and asked nurseries, playgroups and childminders to remain open only for those children who are designated as ‘vulnerable’ or are children of ‘essential workers’.

A list of Nurseries, Playgroups and Childminders who have remained open and have places available can be found here. This list is available on the Registration and Inspection Unit Website and will be updated on a daily basis.
