THERE will be the largest ever selection of direct holiday charter flights from the Isle of Man to top European destinations in 2011.
Regency Travel has partnered with Atlantic Holidays, a new operator and Madeira specialist, and will be offering two holidays to Madeira in May and August.
The seven night holidays will depart from Ronaldsway Airport on Monday, May 2, and Monday, August 29.
News of the Madeira flights comes after Thomas Cook announced it would be launching a second destination from the Island. The major tour operator will be offering direct flights to Ibiza on Sunday, June 5. It will also be flying to Majorca from the Island on Saturday, June 4.
Richard Howarth from Regency Travel said: "2011 is shaping up to be the best yet to escape direct from the Isle of Man. Direct flights are increasing in popularity and we are delighted that Thomas Cook and Atlantic Holidays now have the confidence to offer flights from the Island.
"Residents have been eagerly awaiting the chance to have a wide choice of destinations and departure dates direct from the Island and 2011 is the year that this has become a reality.
"There are also currently some great offers including free child places available but these offers don’t last forever. Our advice is to book early to grab the best deals and avoid disappointment as these flights could fill quickly. We also urge everyone to support our direct flights so that 2011 can become a firm foundation for an even wider choice in the future."
In total 17 different direct holidays are available from the Island with prices starting from £349 per person. Other charters available include Croatia, Portugal, Lake Garda, Sorrento and Geneva.
An open evening will be held at the Claremont Hotel on Tuesday, January 18, to launch the new flights to the Portuguese island of Madeira.
There will be an opportunity to learn more about a holiday to Madeira, enjoy a glass of wine and make an early reservation to guarantee a place.
